The Sea

A lovely November evening, cycled to the Besant Nagar beach and to my surprise the beach was so clean. The sea was always beautiful but was never this fresh and my heart was like " What are you waiting for.. Get in". Just jumped in and played so much and evening started getting darker. I just rested and started to float in the water and was enjoying the reflection of the half moon on the waves. The dark sea and the lovely moon and i was inside the sea enough so that I didn't hear anyone or anything. Just the sound of the waves in my ears and the reflection of moon light in my eyes. It was really one special evening. A date with two special beauties. The moon and the sea.

Civilisation???

Here we are in the year 2008. The computer age has started a few decades before and the world is getting more complex and complicated as days pass. And according to technologists all around the world, the world is evolving. Wow! "Evolving" - its a big word isn't it.
Evolution should be something which should give us positive outcome. But the current "Evolving" world is not showing science of any.
Newspaper says "World's Toughest Code Lock Is Designed" and the next day "Lock Code Deciphered By Hackers". We are living in such a world where antidotes are succeeded by diseases. Is this why we call us "evolved" and "civilised" ?? Starting from very basic to the complex things I can never see The Human Society as "Civilized Society".
Lets start from the Stone Age. Eventhough people started wearing clothes to protect their skin it might also be the other way around. The perverted look of one man could have resulted in the idea to wear clothes. A small deed of land abuse could have seperated colonies and could have resulted in induvidual houses.
People follow rules only due an external force and not of their own. Starting from Obeying Traffic to Not Committing A Crime. We've neglected a lot of things and these small things have accumulated to form a Mt.Everest and here we are at the pinnacle of this lovely "Civilized World".
Real civilzation is where people don't harm each other [Yeah! I am referring those fucking terrorists!], who follow rules and regulations even if there is no one to supervise and where there is respect for everyone without racial discrimination, sexual harassment and ego. Till then we can just consider ourselves the top predators and exploiters and not as Civilzed or Evolved Group of The Living Organisms

EXAMINATIONS!! - Coronation Or CrucifIxion?

Science says that "For all humans, brain weighs on average about 3 lb (1.5 kg) with a size of around 1130 cubic centimetres (cc) in women and 1260 cc in men, although there is substantial individual variation. The brain is very soft, having a consistency similar to jelly. When alive, it is pinkish on the outside and mostly white on the inside, with subtle variations in color....." and the definition goes on, but the parents and faculty never seem to agree.
They've a different parameter or we can even call it a device to prove that all human brains are not the same, and the devic is commonly known to the world as "Examination". Students can be classified into three groups just as the society.
1.Toppers - Rich People
2. Average - Middle Class
3. Floppers - Poor People
And the 2nd level in both categories, being the major class has lots of sub-classes which is not of concern to this issue*
From the above case you will be clearly able to notice that the factor "Money" is proportional to "Marks". And yes, I am just trying to showcase the evolution of life in this "civilsed" society. The person with good marks is treated so well just like the rich people are treated. The Average class just nudges through all the pros and cons. And it is the Floppers who get brutalised. Not by weapons but by words and actions of the faculty and parents.
The Govt has always forgotten to take care of the poor, the same is the case with the Faculty and Floppers. And yet another comparison is that the Govt will always be announcing schemes for poor and Faculty will also be announcing "We'd like to care more for poor scoring students", but the bridge between these two classes is still under construction. Decades have passed. Still nothing has changed.
It is to be noted that it is not the fault of the Authorities only. It is the fault of "Floppers" and "Poor People" also. This can never be denied. Blabbering about Nuke Tests and deals, and India becoming the super power are becoming tools of fashion and also means for increasing TRP ratings now. But everyone has forgot to notice a simple thing that todays Students form tomorrow's Society. Instead of conducting "Vomitting-Out" examinations, the society has to adapt itself to a new method of education which will result in the completion of the Floppers (Poor People) - Faculty (Govt) Bridge. And only this, will end all the pandemonium in the country.
"A journey of thousand miles, starts with a single step". The above said process is definitely complex than Engineering Mathematics and Software Programming, but still we've experts in those fields also. So let's do it the ADIDAS way " Impossible is Nothing". We can if we think we can. Cheers!! :-)

LTTE Issue - The CEG Way !

The crisis in Lanka due to the conflict between the LTTE and the Srilankan Govt has created waves in CEG too. Yeah the administration is so worried about the fact that hundreds are dying and they've come out with an extra ordinary idea. It is supposed that the TN State Govt is the mother of this idea. The extra ordinary idea is- What Else? Collecting money from students. And my Department has gone one step further. The students can get their hall tickets for exam only after "donating" Rs.100/- to the Class Advisor. All hail the Administration of CEG and the Masterminds of my untiring Department!!

Note Of Aprreciation:
Certificate of Merit.
To My Dear Classmates,
This is to certify that, the Administration is really happy to've collected a lumpsome amount and We would like to award you the prestigious "HALL TICKET".

Guys please grow up. We all have an organ inside our skull and you know what it is. It should kindle you to reason out. Don't be sheep driven by herds. We are the most powerful section of the society , THE STUDENT BODY. Money is not the issue here. I just want to make u people realise that we are not puppets. And as we all know the only weapon we've is UNITY. If we are continuing this way there are chances our Dept teachers may even collect money from us to pay school fee for their children. So T.H.I.N.K!! Act accordingly.
